What it takes to be a Personal Assistant

This is not a typical Personal Assistant role. Our Personal Assistants are responsible for managing all of the projects and workloads of our Director team. As such, you’ll not only need to have professionalism and great organisational skills, but initiative and a real knack for problem solving. Topping this off, outstanding communication and administrative skills are a must, allowing you to manage the efficient flow of information in your work area and generally helping improve the quality of output overall.

Organisational skills are a must. To put it bluntly, if you don’t have them, then the job’s not for you

    Katelyn, Personal Assistant

The rewards – What’s in it for you:

    Market leading remuneration
    No day is the same
    Comprehensive training
    5 weeks annual leave

The ability to have a hands-on influence on not only their work area but the broader business is a real source of satisfaction for our Personal Assistants. On top of that, we offer the opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic, close-knit team, flexible work arrangements, and generous remuneration packages.

    The role challenges:

    Hard work
    Fast paced
    High pressure
    Dealing with unexpected issues
    Tight deadlines

Being a fast-paced environment, the ability to deal with high-pressure situations in a calm manner is essential. There are always numerous tasks to work on at any given time, so this role is recommended for natural multi taskers. Finally, because our store network is constantly growing, the work is ever changing, so you’ll need to be flexible in your approach, adaptable to all situations and comfortable with change.

*Includes superannuation. Remuneration varies depending on location and ALDI experience.
